Whenever we're out of ideas, our default place to go is Hankook Taqueria on the westside. I get the usual, the stir fry tofu burrito with no wrap (usually no cheese, but I forgot this time!)
Scoutmob featured Pho 24, a newly opened pho spot on Buford Highway, so we went after our very first bocce match of the spring season. Here, I had the veggie pho.
We went on a quick trip to Asheville to see my very good friend, Peggy, get married. We had some time to stop in at the Thirsty Monk and try a few appetizers, like this one, the hummus platter.
My grandmother made dumplings for my birthday, but we all helped out. If I ever start a dumpling business, it's going to be called The Ugly Dumpling. Andy, however, graduated from Grandma's dumpling school. We finished lunch with a vegan chocolate ganache cake!
